Orders & pricing

• All prices are listed in US dollars unless stated otherwise, and may change at any time.
• An order is an offer to buy. We confirm acceptance when we send your order confirmation; we may decline or cancel an order (for example, if an item is unavailable or a price was listed in error), refunding you in full.
• Because most pieces are handcrafted and made to order, small natural variations in grain, tone and finish are expected and are not defects.

Made-to-order & commissions

Made-to-order and commissioned pieces are produced specifically for you. Lead times are estimates, and these pieces are generally non-returnable except where they arrive damaged or materially not as described. See Shipping & Returns.

Payment

Payments are processed securely by our payment provider. You confirm you're authorised to use the payment method you provide.

Intellectual property

The site, its text, and its photography are the property of Gallery of Chess or its makers and may not be copied or reused without permission.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to a piece is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer law.
